3rd Grade – EARTH SCIENCE: Weather and Climate Impacts Around the World
The Weather and Climate Around the World and Minimizing Their Impacts 3rd Grade Science Kit explores weather and climate around the world. Students will research historical weather data, compile it in bar graphs, and use it to predict future weather for the same region and season. They will research multiple types of severe weather, then follow the engineering design process to design, create, and test a structure that can withstand hazardous weather. In the final module, they will explore the connection between water on Earth’s surface and its weather through hands-on experiments.
