Students will apply their knowledge of the science of flight as they explore the uses and mechanics of drones. They will compare and contrast drones and airplanes, learn the basics of flight safety, and even assemble into drone teams to fly drones. Considering a drone’s place in the sky, students will explore the view from above through maps and artwork. They will make their own maps of familiar places and then follow those maps through walking or flying the drone. They will conclude the last module by creating artwork using the view-from-above perspective.
