Coding Curriculum POP (Level III) – Sphero Mini Through National Parks

The Sphero Mini Level III STEAM POP takes students and Sphero Mini on a tour of U.S. national parks. Students will research national parks of interest using online tools and apply that knowledge in creating maps for Sphero Mini to navigate. An engineering challenge will take students to the sights and sounds of Alaska’s Glacier Bay where they will design a sled to be pulled by Sphero Mini. Students will code at their ability level using block and even text coding to move the robot and express information using sound, color, motion, and looping. At the end of each module, students will demonstrate their national park knowledge and coding skills by presenting their work to classmates.
