Career Pathways and COVID-19
The global pandemic created by COVID-19 has intensified the need for STEM. The purpose of this report is to illuminate the connection between Career Pathways, the war against the pandemic and the need for our teachers and students to be able to move seamlessly between concrete and virtual learning experiences for policy makers, educators, and youth service providers.
Robotics and COVID-19
According to the CDC, social distancing is one of the best tools we have to avoid being exposed to this virus and slow its spread. As the coronavirus has spread, robots are having the “put me in coach” moment they’ve been waiting for.
Drones and COVID-19
In the US, state legislators have introduced more than 50 drone bills since the beginning of 2020. None specifically mention coronavirus, but their purpose has added significance during the pandemic.
