Kamara earned her Master of Arts in Teaching degree (specializing in mathematics) from Texas Woman’s University and a specialist degree in School Psychology from the University of Houston. Her professional careers spans from being a math and science teacher for several years to conducting school evaluations for students to be eligible for special education services. Kamara is passionate about interactive and engaging STEM programs as well as committed to program data collection tools to evaluated student outcomes and success. Kamara resides in Houston, TX with her husband and their sweet and energetic chocolate lab. In her free time, Kamara enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and attempting to duplicate meals/recipes from popular Food Network shows.
